Our History

Our founder and Operations Manager, Jeff Walston, with his 21+ years in construction experience, started the company in 2018 after working nationally and internationally in the commercial construction industry.

In January of that year, as he returned back home to Louisville, Kentucky, Jeff yearned to stay with that profession, but longed to remain a devoted and loving father to his two children. To achieve these endeavors, he knew at that point he was to start his own construction company. Premise Construction was then officially launched. In 2022 we took on a partner making Premise Construction a Veteran Owned company.

OUR OWNER & GM

As the newest owner and general manager of Premise Construction, as of 2022, Kamee Walston brings with her 20+ years of operations & administrative management through her dedicated military career, retiree of the US Air National Guard. Conducting and managing personnel, equipment and pilots for over half her career, paved the way for her interpersonal skills needed to execute excellent client relationships and quality service. Kamee has two healthcare degrees and industry experience of 15 years, which are drivers for her optimal program and personnel management success. She also brings with her commercial industry marketing and advertising subject matter experience. Kamee dedicates and prides herself as a wife, stepmom, veteran and business partner with her husband, our founder, Jeff Walston.
